Hi! I’m Tali, an AMFT and a third generation therapist.

I come from a lineage of therapists (my grandmother was a therapist as is my mom, who still works as a parenting coach/consultant) and feel incredibly honored to continue this legacy of important work. Before becoming a therapist, I worked as a chef, a farmer, and farmers market manager. I then started my own business, called Kitchen Doula, cooking and delivering nourishing meals to those who were healing or postpartum (although I sold the business to my chef, it still exists so check it out!). You could say that I was using food as a means of therapy already then! While running this business, I took a part-time job at The Hamlin School in San Francisco, teaching nutrition and health & wellness, and realized that I loved working closely with my students and their families and being attentive to their emotional needs. This led me to enroll in graduate school at The Wright Institute in Berkeley to pursue my Masters in Counseling Psychology and embark on the path to becoming a Marriage & Family Therapist. Lots of classes, a pandemic, and two kids later, I have now been lucky enough to do this work full-time for the last few years.

I believe that we, as humans, are wired for connection and that we heal most effectively when engaged in relationships with others. This is why I practice relational therapy, where you can feel seen and understood and learn to deepen your connections with the other people in your life.
